Cardinal Dolan has issued a decree merging the territorial parishes of St Joseph, Spring Valley, and St. Boniface, Wesley Hills, effective June 1, 2019. The merged parish will be the parish of St. Joseph and St. Boniface “until such time when the parish community through the pastor proposes a new name.” The church of St. Joseph is designated as the parish church, and the church of St. Boniface will maintain a regular schedule of Masses and the celebration of other sacraments.
